  • In every case a lender will be the engaging party for a real estate appraisal report. Before ordering an appraisal that is expected to be used by a federally insured institution talk to your expected lender. REVAS (Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services) appraisers take USPAP, FIRREA and lender requirements very serious. We have significant experience working with banks of all sizes and treat each one with the same level of respect. Our staff have worked with Wells Fargo Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Private Bank, Harris Bank, Arizona National Bank, Northern Trust, Fifth Third, UBS, Deutsche Bank and Citibank as well as dozens of other banks in the US and Europe. As noted above, REVAS (Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services) is available for (and has experience in) Litigation Support involving expert witness testimony, bankruptcy proceedings, marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, condemnation, zoning and land use disputes as well as familial disputes. In addition, the REVAS (Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services) team has experience in and provides services to property owners seeking to appeal their real estate tax, do estate planning/reporting, and real estate appraisal for insurance purposes. However, in each instance the REVAS (Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services)professional will be practicing as independent fee appraisers. Mr. Vella is willing to serve as a consultant involving such issues as purchase/sale advisement and/or development advisement; any conclusion for which the underpinnings are investor driven will be identified as such. It should be clearly understood that Real Estate Valuation and Advisory Services (REVAS), Inc. professionals strictly adhere to the rules, practice standards, regulations and ethics as expressed by USPAP, The Appraisal Institute (appraisalinstitute.org) and the appropriate governmental oversight such as state licensing boards and FIRREA whenever appropriate.
